Isuzu 4BD2-TC Diesel Specs (1992 - 1998)

The Isuzu 4BD2-TC is an indirect injection, turbocharged diesel engine with a nominal 3.9 liter displacement. The engine was used in Isuzu and GM cab-over trucks from 1992 to 1998. It is considered an improved version of its predecessor, the 4BD1-T, although the performance ratings of both engines are similar. The engine was ultimately replaced by the 4HE1, a 4.8L 4 cylinder, direct injection turbodiesel with a significantly higher torque rating.
