2018 Model Year Ford, GM, Ram Chassis Cab Specs

Ford Motor Company and Ram Trucks continue to dominate the commercial cab and chassis market with Class 3, 4, and 5 offerings. Meanwhile, Chevrolet and GMC trucks are limited to their dual rear wheel 3500HD chassis cab, limiting the volume of customers their commercial trucks are able to reach. Ford has long been the authoritative brand in the "work truck" segment, but Ram Trucks continues to push their way into the market with impressive and competitive alternatives to Ford's F-Series lineup. GM is expected to work their way back into the chassis cab market for the 2019 model year, at which time they will reintroduce their 4500 and 5500 truck line.
